Conor Harrington - ‘Down with the King’

We are incredibly proud to have worked on another massive silkscreen project with our friend, Conor Harrington.

We’ve been busy as ever in the run-up to Christmas, and were so thrilled to get our latest screenprint project with Conor Harrington, the ‘Down with the King’ edition for Galerie Itinerrance over the line ahead of the holidays.

The limited edition of 100 prints are 20-colour silkscreen reproductions of Harrington’s original painting by the same name produced for Galerie Itinerrance’s ‘We Are Here’ exhibition at The Petit Palais in Paris. The exhibition, curated by Mehdi Ben Cheikh, Director of Galerie Itinerrance and Annick Lemoine, Director of The Petit Palais, features over two hundred works by urban artists, including Harrington and Shepard Fairey as headliners.

Over our years of working with Harrington, we’ve refined our method for capturing the depth of colour and fine detail of Harrington’s paintings as screenprints, and this latest project is no exception. ‘Down with the King’ uses multiple hues of intense reds to deliver the vibrancy of the painting and a bright purple that runs through the shadows to enhance the richness of the print’s blue and gray tones.

The edition is now available from Galerie Itinerrance, and Harrington’s painting is on display until January 19th, 2025 at The Petit Palais.
