We are delighted to have had the opportunity to collaborate with London-based artist Mark Francis on a series of four large scale etchings for his solo exhibition at Graphic Studio Gallery, Dublin. For more information, please see the press release provided by Graphic Studio Gallery below.

Mark Francis: Re-Sound

'These prints reference paintings I made during the 1990s. At the time I was looking at oscillograms, which are images that encode something that has been recorded. These associations with sound, vibration and musical scores are abstracted and created to make the invisible visible’.

Graphic Studio Gallery is delighted to present the first solo exhibition of graphic work by Mark Francis in Ireland.  The exhibition is kindly supported by IPUT Real Estate Dublin. The show comprises a large body of new work made at Graphic Studio Dublin between 2019 and 2020 through the studio's visiting artist scheme.

The exhibition encompasses original prints that vary widely in scale and medium, including the artist's first diptych prints; a new series of 4 large scale prints in editions of 5.

Re-Sound, starts Saturday, 29th of August
The exhibition is wonderfully accompanied with a text by Colm Tóibín
