The Armory Show 2024

Our two latest projects, ‘Pathway’ by Ian Davenport and ‘The Four Seasons’ by Idris Khan debuted with Cristea Roberts Gallery at The Armory Show 2024.

We’ve spent the past few months hard at work on two new series of silkscreen prints, and it’s been wonderful to see them unveiled this past weekend in New York at The Armory Show.

It is the first time that the artist has used this print process in which he attempts to push the limits and boundaries of the screen layering technique.

‘The Four Seasons’, 2024 is a series of twelve original screenprints by Idris Khan using the composition of his window series. By layering varying ink types and finishes, our methodology emulated the rhythmic repetition of Khan’s works across other mediums to build the density and richness of texture he is renowned for.

Our latest project with Ian Davenport, a group of three screenprints titled ‘Pathway’, 2024, also debuted at Cristea Roberts Gallery’s booth. The prints are the largest we’ve produced at the studio so far and feature 118 colours in total - 39 on ‘Pathway (Yellow)’ and ‘Pathway (Red)’, and 40 on ‘Pathway (Turquoise)’.

The ‘Pathway’ editions will also be shown at Ian Davenport’s solo exhibition of the same name, which opens this Friday at Cristea Roberts Gallery, alongside our 2022 production of his ‘Mirrored Enamel’ screenprint series.
