Paul Choy

Paul Choy was born in the UK, but is now based on the Indian Ocean island of Mauritius. He is a photographer, his preference has always been to capture the candid – natural, unscripted moments of everyday life. Choy likes to be in the middle of the action rather than viewing things from a distance. The subjects of almost all his photographs are close enough to touch. Through a combination of colour, composition, and mood, he endeavors to create timeless images which can't be dated - photographs that could have been taken decades ago or in the last five minutes.
