Henrik Delehag

Henrik Delehag is a Swedish born artist based in London. Drawing from a rich tradition of iconography as well as facilitating his expertise in typography and architecture, Delehag's work explores the most brutal of relationships; that between black and white - how these polar opposites can coexist in chaos as well as in harmony. He seeks to translate a complex reality into symbols of our mutual understanding and to bring typographic clarity and reasoning to the human condition.

Atelier JI collaborated with Henrik Delehag to create a set of four commemorative, limited edition fluorescent silk screen prints to mark the occasion of his 2023 exhibition ‘It Does Matter Anymore’ - a pandemic retrospective based on drawings made during the lockdown period.
