Roger Hiorns - ‘Fielden House’

Last year, we collaborated with Vital Arts and Roger Hiorns to bring the artist’s installation at the Royal London Hospital to life in print.

The ‘Fielden House’ edition uses a silkscreen varnish with glass crystals applied to recreate the effect of the artist’s signature copper sulphate crystallisation process.

“Fielden House is a limited edition print which forms an extension to Roger Hiorns's installation at the Royal London Hospital which features a series of discarded office clocks. The clocks were retrieved from a now demolished building, that stood on the Royal London Hospital site, known as Fielden House. The artist subjected the clocks to his signature crystallisation process, which catch and refract the light—an effect captured in these limited edition prints. In a gentle momento mori to the hospital's past, the clock shown in this print still displays the time at which it was stopped.”
